At Lake-for-sale-in-France.co.uk we are selling a fabulous 2.5 acre spring fed, weed free, fishing lake in Plouray, central Brittany, France. This is a private sale, we've put together this website to try to answer any questions you might have. It's very difficult to get a good impression of a place without going there so we've tried to get as much information together as possible so you can get a good idea of what the place is like, it's beauty and what the surroundings are like.

Set in approx 7 acres, with an average depth of 8-9ft the lake is no more than 1.5 hours drive from the port of St Malo which is easily accessible via Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth.

We have ourselves stocked the lake on two occasions with Carp in Nov 2005 and also in Nov 2006. For further information on these fish check out the Stocking Link. The lake also contains plenty of Roach and Tench so even if you aren't a Carp fishing expert there is plenty of sport to enjoy both at the lake and in the surrounding area.

Central Brittany is a mature holiday area so there is plenty to do for the fisherman and non-fisherman alike, you can enjoy your sport whilst those with you enjoy the many other attractions.
